Step-by-Step Guide to Change SASSA Banking Details for SRD R350

Go to the SASSA Website
- Open your phone or computer’s internet browser and go to the official SASSA SRD website: srd.sassa.gov.za.
Find the “Change Banking Details” Section
- Scroll down the website until you see the section titled “How do I change my banking details?”
Enter Your ID Number
- Carefully type in your South African ID number in the box provided and click “Submit”.
Wait for the SMS
- SASSA will send a special text message (SMS) to the cellphone number you used when you applied for the grant. This might take a few minutes.
Open the Link in the SMS
- Once you get the text message, click on the link provided. This link is unique to you and will only work once for security reasons.
